Write to City Hall Main Street USA! Resolution 2

I've yet to see a single person come forth and pledge to give back the extra Blu-ray McQueens they weren't supposed to receive. Therefore, I'll discuss Resolution 2 which we can use to motivate Disney to do more than their ridiculous offer.

I feel that many top level managers need be made highly aware of the insulting resolution made by the inept management and fulfillment staff of Buena Vista Home Entertainment
who royally screwed-up the Blu-Ray Promotion. Now, due to their failure to properly track the orders, match them to inventory and fulfill the CONFIRMED ORDERS properly, they have created intense "Guest" dissatisfaction and anger!

These main points, along with the the simple fact that saying "Until Supplies Last," isn't in any way an acceptable excuse to any of us who received CONFIRMED ORDERS as far back as November when the promotion began and never received our order! This is a slimy way to attempt to thwart "Guest" dissatisfaction, to legitimize their insulting offer to us, and to pay them $3.50 for shipment of a lame DVD that no one wants! It's even more insulting because they act as if they are doing us a favor! They should run for political office.

Our dissatisfaction is based on these simple facts...

  1. Disney Movie Rewards had inept people fulfilling their orders who did an incredibly pathetic job tracking the number of Blu-Ray McQueens sold and shipped!
  2. Buena Vista Home Entertainment sent out numerous Blu-Ray McQueens to people who weren't supposed to get them, thus creating a huge shortage!
  3. Finally, they are trying to cover their proverbial ass by saying they simply ran out instead of admitting their incompetent staff fulfilling and tracking the inventory was the problem. Now, their stance is take this lame DVD and pay us for shipping and handling. This is an arrogant, short-sighted, and insulting offer that is par for this company.
We should mail copies on a designated date to Disney Movie Rewards, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Consumer Products Division, and Robert Iger, President/CEO. This way they will receive numerous letters about the same issue at about the same time. Within that week we should follow-up with phone calls to the same offices and reinforce our stance on a resolution that is far more adequate! If at that time, we continue to feel dismissed and marginalized, then Resolution 3 should be enacted! Resolution 3 will be written about tomorrow.

Here's an interesting site with loads of contact addresses and phone numbers. It hasn't been updated since July of last year, but should still be good for a start on Disney Consumer Products etc.

I would like to add a side note. I believe this is not entirely Disney's fault. This promotion is being ran by the ePrize imbiciles. These are the same folks who ran a crummy Disney / Pixar Cars, License to Win promotion, last year, in which they were unable to fulfill winning auction bids. They are not customer service oriented, and have no business attempting to implement, Disney Magic, because they fail badly.

So anyone having a problem, please contact the Better Business Bureau, and report ePrize, along with contacting the approprite Disney entity.

Disney should not be using this stupid company to run their marketing promotions.
