Blu Ray McQueen Close to Finish Line

Exactly two months ago today, I launched Alternator Valley with a Big Ka-Chow! I reported on the unkown release of this Limited Edition (15,000) Dinoco Blu Ray Deco McQueen die-cast car! Many still don't know that you can get it. First, you must purchase the Disney/Pixar Blu-Ray Disk. Second, visit Disney Movie Rewards and redeem the code on the insert. Finally, you find the Lightning McQueen Blu Ray graphic, click on it, and for the cost of $3.50 for Shipping & Handling, you'll be able to place your order to get it! The promotion runs until January 31, 2008, or until supplies run out. The numbers of the orders are into the 16 thousands and don't correlate to the 15,000 edition size. I spoke with a supervisor at Disney Movie Rewards and she confirmed the numbers don't reflect sequential order of the 15,000 Cars being given away. She wouldn't tell me how many were left, but said people could still get them until they run out, or until the end of the promotion. So, it appears there's still time to get one if you want one. Here you'll find Disney Blu Ray Discounts for the Cars Blu Ray Disk and other titles. He comes packaged in a simple plastic wrap, and is shipped in a padded manila envelope. Disney has been shipping them about 3 weeks after your order, but asks you to give them 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.

COMING SOON! "Customs - Counterfeits & Copyright Infringement" also, "Thieves and Hogs."

First, where the hell are you getting that this edition is limited to only 15000??? Does it say it on the webpage? No. Does it say it on the confirmation number? No. Quit putting out false information until you can get someone at Disney to confirm your suspect reporting.

Second, get a frickin life. Customs are not counterfeits. If some moron makes something & then says its an official product from a manufacturer, then THAT is a counterfeit. If someone makes something & tells everyone that it is not from the manufacturer but a custom, then it is not a counterfeit.

You have got to be the biggest asshat to ever land on the internet.

I love how people have cyber-courage and can't even own up to the attacks they levy on people. I could have easily deleted this useless comment, but allow it to be posted so the readers with brains and maturity will see you for the fool you are.

First, if you READ, here's a quote from the Children Affected by Aids foundation verifying the 15k edition size in their literature, which is also published in my first article. "Blu Ray DVD Exclusive Mail In CAR: Disney/ Pixar ordered 15K to offer the consumers the option to mail in and receive this special Dinoco Blu Ray Deco McQueen. It is a double Rangsburg Blue Metallic." I also had it verified by a supervisor at Disney Movie Rewards.

Second, You and all the copyright infringers will simply have to READ my article about "Customs - Counterfeits & Copyright Infringement" Once my research, calls to Disney Legal and Mattel has been completed. I can only believe you're sweating being put out of business because you must be one of those infringers.

So, keep visiting, read and learn to be civil, because you my friend, have a lot to learn!

Some people think the internet is a green light for bullying. Why come here, read something and then complain about it? If you don't like it or don't believe it why don't you provide factual sourced proof? Alternatively, get a life and move on.
Anyway, when's the coustoms, counterfeit etc. article going to appear?

I'm glad you appreciate Alternator Valley. The Customs vs. Counterfeits article will hopefully be published within the next week or two. I've been attempting to get a hold of Disney legal for a few weeks and have had no luck. I'm also gathering a load of info and am researching the topic thoroughly. It will be a longer than usual article that will make for a good discussion!

Again, have the courage to put your name to your post. First, you have no idea about any arrangement I may or may not have with Disney in terms of use of 1 graphic (Cars Logo). Second, unlike you "Customizers," I'm not profiting from the use of that one image. What I'll profit from is if the content of my blog is compelling, interesting, and readers visit it and click on our Google ads. Third, Disney personnel read these types of sites and see that...A.) I'm an advocate of theirs! B.) I'm probably helping them generate way, way more revenue than they'd ever lose by letting me use that 1 piece of artwork. C.) I'm not blatantly, brazenly selling copywrite infringing items on Ebay like you and the others who justify your illegal behavior!

You and the others are worried because you are dancing with the Devil and could get into trouble. I'd love to see how your tune would change if you came up with all the Cars characters, the great brands they created and suddenly hundreds of rip-offs appeared on Ebay. Look, you ALL can justify your crap as "Custom," but that doesn't hold water in a court of law when it comes to your copywrite infringing ways! Wait until I'm done with my aritcle and then we'll see what you have to say.
